GDPR Act Sequel

I wonder if Americans have the knowledge that Europeans have “no access” anymore since 1 Month to several USA websites, such as “Los Angeles Times“, “Chicago Tribune” & “NY Daily News“.
I wonder what should happen if Americans have no access anymore to European websites ?

Imagine that US users wouldn’t have access to articles, news etc who is published in European newspapers.
Things are and have changed since 1,5 Year between the EU and USA.
Fact is that We see the results of all this.
Some data … I call it borders has been closed.
Why ?
For reason of democracy ?
What about freedom of speech and freedom of press ?

Its all about the GDPR Act (General Data Protection Regulation) who is in force since May 25 (2018) to protect personal data & info of EU citizens.
It looks that some services / websites more likely block their EU users, than agree to a regulation that protects the data from their users whatever they are European or American.

Is u aan de datum van vandaag iets speciaal opgevallen ?

Ik zie reeds de vele samenzweringen opduiken op de vele blogs die internet rijk is. Jij niet ?

In het Engels leest men het als 2016, 11, 9 … Doch wij als Europeanen lezen het als 9.11.2016. Valt u iets op ?

Ik zie er 9.11 (nine eleven) in, wat staat in het Engels voor 11 September. Naar Europese maatstaven lijkt het vandaag nu even 9.11. Wie had gehoopt op de eerste vrouwelijke President in de Free World zal wellicht vandaag teleurgesteld uit zijn bedstee stappen.

Na Reagan die als gepensioneerde filmster President werd, kan het gebeuren dat de USA vandaag voor het eerst een Reality Star als Commander-in-Chief krijgt.

In ons land kunnen wij het ons moeilijk voorstellen dat Peter uit Familie, of Boma uit FC De Kampioenen straks Premier word van het land. Het blijkt vandaag nog maar eens dat in de USA alles mogelijk is en echt iedereen zich met het volle gewicht kan gooien in de strijd om President te worden. Of dat zo “great” is, is nog maar de vraag.

Tenzij 9.11 een predictie is op diegene die vandaag als winnaar uit de bus komt.
